Why I started this
As chef since childhood, experiencing the egg struggle has been eye-opening. Eggs are precious and at the heart of so many kitchens. But with grocery prices soaring, I kept seeing Facebook posts and roadside stands with no central place to find local eggs. I knew this had to change.
As a web designer and local business/homestead enthusiast myself, I decided to start High Desert Eggs to connect neighbors, support small farms, and make it easier to bring fresh, local eggs back to our kitchens—because good food starts at home and from farm-fresh eggs from our neighbors.
